Retail Design Concept: International Patisserie meets Indian Haveli.

In order to achieve an aesthetic that is truly world class, but rooted in the Indian context, the design draws inspiration from traditional Indian Art/Architecture & Design and interprets it in a contemporary fashion.

A Haveli façade filled with numerous windows, exquisite marble inlay floors, gold leafing on ceilings, woven cane chairs, and so on, is an image that is a common place in the traditional Indian architectural context.

Research showed that several of these techniques and crafts that have been practiced for centuries, are still practiced to date.
